Snezhnaya is described as a vast nation of glaciers and snowy wastes, defined by extreme cold and heavy industrialization. The region's capital, Snezhnograd, houses Kresnik's Torch — the core of the nation's heating system — hinting at a civilization built entirely around surviving and harnessing its brutal environment.
One of the most exciting reveals is the region's train network, which functions as both transportation and active gameplay space. Unlike teleport waypoints that skip the journey entirely, Snezhnaya's trains promise to make traversal itself an engaging experience, with encounters and events happening during transit.

The development team revealed that Snezhnaya's music draws on classical symphonic influences and Slavic folk traditions, establishing a sonic identity distinct from any region before it.
