Clash of Clans April Update Adds Sky Wagon Siege Machine, New Guardian, and Ranked Overhaul

Supercell is rolling out one of the meatiest Clash of Clans updates in recent memory. The April 2026 patch brings a new air-based Siege Machine, a fresh Guardian defense for Town Hall 18 players, new equipment for the Dragon Duke, a complete Ranked Mode overhaul, and expanded army capacity — all arriving alongside the Electro Fangs Boost Event that kicks off today, April 27.

Sky Wagon: A New Siege Machine

The Sky Wagon is the headline addition. This new air-based Siege Machine works similarly to the Troop Launcher but is designed specifically for air and hybrid attack strategies. Rather than dealing direct damage, it deploys barrels every eight seconds, each releasing a mix of air troops along with Clan Castle reinforcements. The slower deploy rate compared to the Troop Launcher is offset by sustained support throughout the entire attack.

The Logger Guardian

Town Hall 18 players get a new Guardian defense: the Logger. It functions like a defensive version of the Log Launcher, rolling logs that damage both ground and air troops. It adds a new wrinkle to base design, particularly against air-heavy compositions that have dominated the meta in recent seasons.

Electro Fangs Equipment

The Dragon Duke gains a new Common Equipment piece called Electro Fangs, which introduces a passive chain-damage ability similar to Electro Dragons. Each attack chains across multiple targets, with damage reducing by 20 percent on each jump. The Electro Fangs Boost Event starting today temporarily maxes out the equipment so players can test its full potential before committing upgrade resources.

Ranked Mode Gets a Complete Overhaul

Legend League is now split into three tiers: Legend I, Legend II, and Legend III. Clan War Leagues are also expanding with four new tiers — Titan III, Titan II, Titan I, and Legend. Each group promotes one clan (except Legend tier), while two clans face demotion each season. The restructuring aims to create more competitive brackets and reduce the wide skill gaps that plagued higher-tier matchmaking.

Bigger Armies

Level 14 Army Camps bring an additional three troop capacity per camp, pushing the total maximum housing space from 340 to 352. A second Air Bomb can now be built as well, giving defenders another tool to punish air-heavy strategies. These changes together should shift the meta meaningfully heading into the next competitive season.

The Clash of Clans April 2026 update is expected to go live alongside today's Electro Fangs Boost Event.
